Before there is movement, there is impulse. Before there is a piece, there is intuition. Both are born in the same place: something invisible within us. Hand in hand with Parisian choreographer Sulian Rios, we bring Inner Forms to life, a performance that embodies the idea that our pieces are not purely functional but profoundly human. For an instant, they abandon their static object condition to become movement.
Through dance, forms find a new language: the body is the tool that interprets what the material suggests, extending the artisan's work beyond physical creation.
Among centuries-old stones, a 12th-century farmhouse becomes the ideal setting for this interpretative exercise that reveals the identity and sensibility residing within the object.
“As if they were the same organism, the body bends following the same curve as the wooden trunk, and the fall of the arms evokes the elasticity of a branch overcome by the wind."
Contained movement becomes essential. The posture reflects the stability, anticipation, and discretion inherent in each element.
