Acclaimed writer, Susana Ordovás, opens the doors of The Apartment. With its nomadic spirit and its passion for design, it dyes every corner of our space green in its path.
“The Apartment transforms into a little piece of Yucatán, opening windows that transport us to more than eight thousand kilometers away. A forgotten region, from which the writer has returned completely captivated.”
With the help of Susana we selected different photographs from her book “Inside Yucatán”, in order to create rooms that emerged from the wall, a wonderful surrealism in which her photographs and our RV74 pieces create illusory compositions. Converting The Apartment into a hacienda like the ones Susana had visited.
“Fabrics as special as those of Gastón and Daniela frame each of the photographs and settings. With its prints and textures such as velvet, they make the place we are in unrecognizable. They are the Verdecora plants, which, with their soft green whisper, give soul to this apartment.
And for realism to surpass itself, Mexican crafts like those from Huakal were essential.”
This second edition of The Apartment continues to inspire us to create such disparate worlds that will undoubtedly continue to take us to the deepest corners of our guests, an extraordinary and very personal way of getting to know them.
