The circular brass clasp, known as a "full moon lock," is one of the most distinctive elements of traditional Chinese furniture. Its circular shape symbolizes fullness and harmony, while protecting the contents of the cabinet through a simple and robust locking system.
The lower apron features cut-out decoration with stylized volutes that visually lighten the structure and add a certain dynamism.
