Bamileke Chest
Regular price 120€Agregar al carrito
These are traditional reliquary chests of the Bamileke ethnic group. They are carved from a single piece of untreated eyong wood, with geometries and figurations typical of their beliefs, with reliefs that adopt different positions in an attempt to break the symmetry.
They are pieces with an extraordinary visual attraction power. They come from the highlands, a mountainous area between Nigeria and Cameroon known as 'Bamileke country'.
Measurements: 20cm in diameter; 50cm high.
We like it for:
1 It is carved in one piece.
2 Its natural appearance.
3 Its decorative character.
