Set of 6. Waxed wallpaper from the French firm Le Monde Sauvage
from sheets printed using the batik technique.
The set of 12 sheets covers approximately 4 square meters.
This wallpaper set can be placed on an entire surface like a classic wallpaper, or you can create your own pattern, placing the sheets as you wish: for example, if you want to create a headboard.
Wallpapering is easier because the sheets are placed one after the other and do not need to match. It is advisable to keep the edges fringed and see the delimitation of each sheet, these elements are the hallmark of this wallpaper.
Sheet measurements: 50 cm long; 70 cm wide high.
We like it for:
1 Transform any bedroom, living room, entrance hall very easily.
2 Her delicate drawings make us travel.
3 Its extraordinary quality is so much so that it looks like a tile.
Delivery time for some colours is 4 weeks (check with store).
Wallpapering technique:
First you need to clean the wall. Then prepare the glue. When the wall is dry, apply the film starting from a high angle.
Using the brush, apply the glue to the back of the sheet (side where the pattern is less pronounced). Place the sheet from the top.
Remove the air between the sheet and the wall with a tool. Smooth from the top center of the sheet to the left and right alternately.
Do this again until you have reached the end of the sheet.
Then apply this technique to the other leaves.
Once the wallpaper is dry, trim the edges with a utility knife to make them clean. When you use the sponge, the color of the edges changes a little, so to make it consistent, use the slightly damp sponge over the entire surface.
