Regular price 2.150€Agregar al carrito
A plaster sculpture representing the goddess Nike, a figure from Greek mythology associated with victory, made around 1900 in an academic workshop.
These types of pieces were produced by master sculptors' workshops, where plaster was used as a study and reproduction material. From molds taken from classical models or stone works, copies were generated for both teaching and the dissemination of the classical canon in studios and academies.
A piece that directly connects with the classical sculptural tradition and the artisanal process of workshops of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, adding character and historical dimension to the space
