Sculpture goddess Nike 1940s
Regular price 2.150€Agregar al carrito
Plaster sculpture depicting the goddess Nike, a figure from Greek mythology associated with victory, made around 1900 in an academic workshop.
These types of pieces were produced by master sculptors' workshops, where plaster was used as a study and reproduction material. From molds taken from classical models or stone works, copies were generated for both teaching and the dissemination of the classical canon in studios and academies.
A piece that directly connects with the classical sculptural tradition and the artisanal process of late 19th and early 20th-century workshops, adding character and historical dimension to the space.
