Pair of Ju-Yon lamps from the Uchiwa series, designed by Ingo Maurer in the 1970s. The Uchiwa collection is based on a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Japanese fan, using natural materials and artisanal processes. Each piece combines a structure made of bamboo rods with a diffuser made of stretched plant fiber, allowing for a soft and even dispersion of light. The Ju-Yon model is characterized by its fan-shaped silhouette and structural lightness, maintaining Maurer's formal principles centered on light as a poetic element and organic material.
