Yakisugi & Xuan Paper Lamp
Carved from a block of reclaimed antique wood from Yunnan, this lamp preserves the patina and character of materials that have been part of traditional rural Chinese architecture for generations. The handcrafted waxed Xuan paper shade diffuses a soft, warm light, revealing the natural texture of its fibers.
A piece in which the sculptural strength of century-old wood meets the lightness of one of China’s oldest artistic traditions.
