The inside of the trunk is a hollow metal tube. This is what provides the main rigidity. The cocoons are made of baking paper (41 g/m2), which is particularly heat-resistant. It is toned and ribbed, which ensures good shape retention while remaining malleable. It is not porous, but slippery. Therefore, any dust that settles on it will not permeate the fibres. It will stay on the surface and is easy to remove with a feather duster or by tapping the cocoon with a cloth to blow away the dust.

For cleaning, it is recommended to use a duster twice a year to remove dust from the buds. It is important to understand that the object is not fragile. All branches are reinforced with metal wire, so they can be repositioned when necessary.
Buds can also be reshaped without any problems. If they become misshapen, they can be easily reshaped by pushing or pulling the paper to make them look plump and round.
