At the beginning of the 17th century, the considerable development of new sciences, such as botany, led to the appearance in the workshops of Brussels of large tapestries known as "Verdures", in which exuberant flora was displayed with a profound sense of perspective.

This tapestry is currently woven and made in France, in the workshops of Jules Pansu. These are located in Flanders, France.
