The creations of this artist, who describes herself as asymmetrical, bring to life Edgar Allan Poe’s adage: “There is no perfect beauty, only a certain singularity of proportions.” Her figures are disturbing presences that seem to want to resist the dictates of the uniform and rationalized beauty that invades us.
